Description
TESSERA TECHNOLOGY’s Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) Lighting Control Solution supports DALI-enabled lighting device development as a one-stop service. Various development tools with support for Renesas RX 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) are available. TCM-RX65N-OP1 is the option board conforming to DALI-2, for adding DALI communication functions to the "Renesas RX65N Cloud Kit". In this design, multiple slaves are controlled by a single master using the DALI protocol over AWS. Users are guided step-by-step to set up communication through their AWS account.

- Control device can be controlled either using the DALI GUI operation mode or Amazon Web Services (AWS) operation mode
- Multiple DALI communication paths are available in this system for dimming control of lighting equipment connected after the "Control Gear"
- 3 operation modes are available depending on your purpose:
- DALI GUI Operation Mode: Control dimming by the "DALI Master Controller GUI" application on your PC via USB
- AWS Web Operation Mode: Control dimming by "AWS Web Application" via Wi-Fi module on your "RX65N Cloud Kit"
- Switch Operation Mode: Control dimming via matrix button switch on this "Option Board"
