Connects and controls Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) sensors through an IoT gateway to an Amazon Web Service MQTT broker with a mobile app.
A Synergy SK-S7G2 IoT gateway is used to simulate a smart home environment and connects through a Wi-Fi access point to an Amazon Web Service (AWS) MQ Telemetry Transport (MQTT) broker via MQTT protocol. BLE sensors can be monitored and controlled with a MQTT Dash broker app on a smartphone or mobile device. The gateway sends data collected from BLE sensors and receives control commands back from the broker. Initial provisioning of the gateway is performed using the access point mode and a simple web server hosted on the gateway.
