Overview

TESSERA TECHNOLOGY’s Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) Lighting Control Solution supports DALI-enabled lighting device development as a one-stop service. Various development tools with support for Renesas RX 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) are available. TCM-RX65N-OP1 is the option board conforming to DALI-2, for adding DALI communication functions to "Renesas RX65N Cloud Kit". In this design, multiple slaves are controlled by a single master using the DALI protocol over AWS. Users are guided step-by-step to set up communication through their AWS account.

  • 3 operation modes are available depending on your purpose:
    • DALI GUI Operation Mode: Control dimming by the "DALI Master Controller GUI" application on your PC via USB
    • AWS Web Operation Mode: Control dimming by "AWS Web Application" via Wi-Fi module on your "RX65N Cloud Kit"
    • Switch Operation Mode: Control dimming via matrix button switch on this "Option Board"
