This design easily attaches the sensor board to any type of mechanical water meter with metalized index wheel and detects with it, both RPM as well as the rotation direction.

  • Setup includes a DC motor, motor control unit, analog signal connector, and sensor connector kit.
  • Configure the sensibility of rotational metal detection by changing the phase between the reference excitation signal and the sensor excitation signals.
  • Sensibility is controlled by adding delay in excitation signals.
