High-speed CMOS output photocouplers (optocouplers) are optically coupled isolators containing a gallium aluminum arsenide (GaAlAs) LED on the light-emitting diode (input side) and a CMOS output IC on the output side. These couplers are high common mode transient immunity (CMR), high-speed CMOS output type devices designed for high-speed logic interface circuits. These devices can be used in a wide variety of applications including industrial and solar inverters, power conditioners, measurement and control equipment, AC servos, and factory automation networks.
