Overview
Description
The automotive industry is rapidly advancing towards autonomous driving and enhanced safety features, such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with technologies like lane departure warnings, collision avoidance, and driver monitoring systems. The global push for safer vehicles, coupled with regulatory pressures and consumer expectations, is driving the adoption of sophisticated ADAS solutions.
This complete hardware and software system is designed for ADAS and autonomous driving applications, including front camera, surround view, lane keeping assistance (LKA), lane departure warning (LDW), and light detection and ranging (LiDAR).
System Benefits:
- The image recognition engine optimizes the performance-to-power balance, while the Quad Arm® Cortex®-A53 and Cortex®-R7 enable advanced video processing and image recognition, enhancing system detection and responsiveness to driving conditions and obstacles.
- ISO 26262 compliant pre-regulator and PMIC for the R-Car V3H system-on-chip (SoC) enable high efficiency and reduced peripheral components for analyzing a car's surroundings and cognitive computing processing.
- A programmable clock generator (1MHz to 500MHz) replaces several crystal oscillators with a single device, reducing the BOM, saving space, and cutting costs.
- Supports the reduced gigabit media-independent interface (RGMII) (2 channels) as the Ethernet IF and CSI2 (2 channels) as the camera IF to accommodate various inputs and outputs.
