A rangefinder is a device used to measure the distance from an observer to a target. This smart rangefinder solution, which incorporates Renesas' ISL29501 Time of Flight (ToF) sensor IC, is easy to design and control, while also achieving accurate wide range distance measurement. Optimized for handheld applications, this solution includes the world’s lowest power Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) system-on-chip (SoC) to implement wireless communication and offers long battery life.
