Overview

Description

Topics
・e² studio simulator supports the new device RL78/G24 with highest RL78 processing performance.

This simulator enables source-level debugging of applications on our integrated development environment e² studio even before the target system becomes available, thus achieving efficient debugging of the programs developed for the RL78 family.

It comes with diverse break and coverage measurement functions and allows you to evaluate software modules almost as if they were running on the actual system board. Furthermore, its intuitive GUI (Graphical User Interface) operability makes your debugging environment highly user-friendly.

Features

  • Comes with diverse break and coverage measurement functions.
  • Allows you to evaluate software modules almost as if they were running on the actual system board.
  • Intuitive GUI* operability makes your debugging environment highly user-friendly.
    *Graphical User Interface
  • Simulation of the following items is available as well as CPU instruction simulation (only some MCU groups).
    • The simulation of MCU peripheral functions such as timers and serial ports
    • Virtual target board simulation via the [I/O panel] window
    • MCU pin signal waveform generation in the [Timing chart] window
    • Simulation of current drawn by MCUs
