Renesas offers innovative, high-performance, fully calibrated environmental sensors and modules to measure humidity and temperature (RHT), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and ozone (O3), hydrogen (H2), particulate matter (PM) and carbon dioxide (CO2). Renesas has leveraged over 15 years of technical experience to develop sensors that provide reliable data and awareness about the environment. Our sensors are proven to meet various air quality standard requirements when designed for applications.
Renesas offers discrete sensors with a single sensing element for host controller integration.
Renesas sensor modules are equipped with one or more sensing elements and an MCU containing integrated sensor firmware, offering ease of design. These modules provide benefits such as accelerated time to market, flexibility for use across all product lines, improved performance, and reduced development costs.
This is a brief overview of the Renesas ZMOD4410 gas sensor platform, which provides best-in-class stability and sensitivity to identify trace gases in various indoor environments. These air quality sensors feature a miniature package with waterproof capability, an integrated ASIC, and a MEMS sensing element comprised of a controlled heater and proven metal oxide (MOx) material. The firmware upgradeable platform makes the ZMOD4410 portfolio capable of providing a variety of measurement options by varying the method of operation or changing the firmware used to interpret the resistance measurements.
