Migration From V2 to V3

Overview

If you have the Renesas Flash Programmer V2 (the commercial edition), you can upgrade it to V3 (the commercial edition) free of charge. Resister the license of the Renesas Flash Programmer V2 into the Renesas Flash Programmer V3.

How to Resister the License

  1. Install the Renesas Flash Programmer V3 Upgrade latest version into the host PC installed the Renesas Flash Programmer V2 commercial edition.
  2. Resister a license file that is located in the License_File folder of the CD of the Renesas Flash Programmer V2 into "Import of License" of Help menu on the Renesas Flash Programmer V3.

Note that V3.01.00 and later versions of the Renesas Flash Programmer support the license import function, but V3.00.00 and earlier versions do not.

Settings for Using V2 After Purchasing V3

If you have the Renesas Flash Programmer V3 (commercial edition), you can use V2 concurrently. Resister the license of the Renesas Flash Programmer V3 into the Renesas Flash Programmer V2.
