Getting Started
Renesas provides pre-built Linux images and SDK to develop HMI based applications using Qt graphical framework. The Linux images include Linux BSP, OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics library, H.264 encoder/decoder and frameworks like GStreamer multimedia framework, ALSA audio framework, Wayland/Weston windowing system and Qt graphical framework. The SDK provides cross-compiler tool chain and libraries, to get your started on your Linux applications.
In addition to pre-built Linux images, Renesas uses Yocto tools and provides recipes to build a custom Linux distribution and SDK for your embedded projects. For more information on building your custom Linux using Yocto, please visit the SK-RZ/G1E page on elinux.org.
Renesas provides many demos that demonstrate the capabilities of RZ/G1 in different application areas like HMI, object identification and recognition, human face recognition and identification, camera-based applications, and others. Please visit the Renesas YouTube page and experience the capabilities of RZ/G1E.
