QEs: Tools for Particular Applications

Renesas solutions for minimizing man-hours in developing various applications

We are currently developing a range of Quick and Effective Tool Solutions (QEs) as development tools for particular applications. The intention is greater efficiency than existing tools for our development environments. Have you ever wondered "What's the matter with this thing? I understand the development environment, and have pulled the application together, but it still doesn't go!"? We are adding development features for various particular applications to the existing debugging features of our integrated development environments. As they appear, try our new development tools if you are having problems in developing embedded applications.

Support for the CS+ integrated development environment has been added.

Lineup

QE for USB: A Dedicated Tool for USB [Technical Preview Edition]

This is a debugging assistance tool for developing systems which use the USB. Four features will assist in solving problems at the beginning of USB system development. It supports the e² studio integrated development environment (in development for the RX71M, RX65N, RX651, RX64M, RX63N, RX631, RX62N, RX621, RX231, RX111, RL78/G1C and RL78/L1C).

QE for BLE: A Dedicated Tool for Bluetooth® low energy [Technical Preview Edition]

This is a debugging assistance tool for developing systems which use the Bluetooth® low energy. It supports the e² studio integrated development environment (in development for the RL78/G1D).

QE for TCP/IP: A Dedicated Tool for TCP/IP Development [Technical Preview Edition]

This product is a dedicated solution tool for developing embedded systems which use TCP/IP through the M3S-T4-Tiny for RX family TCP/IP protocol stack from Renesas. It runs in the e² studio integrated development environment (in development for the RX family).

RZ/A QE for Video Display Controller 5 [Technical Preview Edition]

This product is a dedicated development support tool for systems that incorporate the Video Display Controller 5 (VDC5). It runs in the e² studio integrated development environment (in development for the RZ/A).

QE for Current Consumption: A Dedicated Tool for current measurement

This development assistance tool helps to shorten the times taken in operations for the tuning of currents drawn by RL78-based systems. It is included as a standard item in the e² studio and CS+ (CS+ for CC only) integrated development environments.

QE: A Dedicated Tool for CAN network, Fault Injection Testing and Safety Verification [CS+ Package Edition]

These are debugging assistance tools for developing systems which use the CAN network, fault injection testing and safety verification. It supports the CS+ integrated development environment (in development for the RH850, RX, and RL78 families).

QE: CAN communication time measurement solution [CS+ Package Edition]

This debugging assistance tool supports measuring response times in CAN communications by RH850 Family devices. This tool is supported by the CS+ integrated development environment.
