Overview

To help designers realize these functions Renesas provides an extensive line up of microcontrollers designed specifically for use in indoor and outdoor air conditioning units and for use in remote controls. The RX23T Group, the RL78/G13 Group and the RL78/G13A Group of low pin count microcontrollers with built-in MCU peripheral functions such as reset IC enables a low cost solution for inverter control in outdoor units, the RX130 Group, the RX230 Group, the RL78 Family and the RA4M1 Group are designed for indoor units, and the RL78/L12 Group and the RL78/L13 Group are for use in remote controls. Renesas delivers solutions optimized to customer requirements.
