Description

The US069-EVK is a modular design consisting of four boards to provide a complete solution for a 36V to 48V power train system. The battery management and control board is responsible for setting up and monitoring the battery front end for up to a 16-cel Li-ion battery, monitoring and controlling the chargers, and driving the inverter board that drives the motor. The inverter board mates with the motherboard to make the motor control block for BLDC motors and is capable of up to 1600W. The wireless power receiver board charges the system with up to 60W of continuous power, and the Bluetooth® connectivity board provides additional optional controls for the system as well as diagnostic abilities. Combined with the Renesas software resources, this modular system enables rapid prototyping of 12V to 48V motor control and battery management systems.
