Renesas Synergy™ Development Kit DK-S128

The DK-S128 is a full development kit for the Synergy S128 Group of MCUs, enabling software and hardware developers to experiment, evaluate, and develop firmware for the extensive features of the MCU prior to designing customized hardware for their end-product.

Getting Started

Before you start working with your development board, you will need the latest version of the Synergy Software Package, as well as the development tools needed to work with it.


If you are new to Synergy Platform development, visit our Getting Started Guide on the web. This guide will provide detailed instructions on how to register an account on the Synergy Gallery to obtain a developer license, and how to download and install all the software and tools that are required. Once you have completed these steps, return to this section for more in-depth information on how to work with your board.

PC System Requirements

To use e² studio ISDE, or IAR Embedded Workbench® for Renesas Synergy™, ensure that your PC meets the following minimum requirements:

 

  • Microsoft® Windows® 7 or Windows® 10 with Intel® Core™ family processor running at 2.0 GHz or higher (or equivalent processor)
  • At least 8 GB of system RAM
  • At Least 2 GB of free hard drive space
  • At least 2 USB 2.0 ports
  • Connection to the Internet
