The ADAS Starter Kit simplifies and accelerates the development of ADAS solutions. It provides outstanding processing performance to the developer, based on the cutting-edge performance of the R-Car H2 SoC, which is capable of delivering more than 25,000 DMIPS and providing state-of-the-art 3D graphics capabilities and powerful vision processing cores. The ADAS Starter Kit is measuring only 10x10cm and comes with an extension connector.
R-Car starter kits for automotive software development enable users to easily build automotive Linux platforms that are standardized by the Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) and GENIVI® open source communities and that are highly extensible and can be used for wide variety of applications. The lineup consists of two kits, one with the R-Car H3 and one with the R-Car M3. They have compatible interfaces.
The V3M Starter Kit simplifies the development of automotive software and accelerates to enable new ADAS and AD applications for applications like front camera, surround view and lidar. The Starter Kit based on the V3M system-on-chip (SoC), which is customized for high performance and low power consumption. The Starter Kit is a ready-to-use kit including the required interface and tools, including Renesas’ open-source e2 studio integrated development environment (IDE).
The Highly Automated Driving Platform supports an efficient integration process for complex, highly automated driving systems. It shortens time to market by enabling system developers to verify and integrate software easily on the prototype ECU designed to deliver a faster track to mass production vehicles.
The second-generation ADAS view solution kit allows to evaluate surround view and smart cameras for mirrorless vehicles and driver monitoring. The kit is an all-in-one solution with sample application software. The base kit uses the R-Car Starter Kit Premier based on R-Car H3 SoC and comes with 4 cameras. An extension kit of additional 4 cameras is available separately.
The HAD solution kit provides the required performance, automotive embedded design and functional safety base to develop and verify software for highly autonomous drive systems. It uses high-performance devices targeted at automotive and functional safety. It supports software development and software verification for automotive ECUs. This is being integrated in a robust housing existing of multiple interfaces that has a rich connectivity close to actual automotive.
