1. Monitoring extensive environmental sensor information at a low cost
429MHz band LoRa®-based wireless environment demo
In this demonstration, 429MHz band LoRa®-based modulation wireless is used to achieve a far-reaching, low-energy, star shaped environmental sensing IoT system.
Various types of sensor data are uploaded to a cloud, and these data are visualized in multiple platforms such as on PCs, tablets and smartphones.
Microsoft Azure is used for the cloud, while Microsoft PowerBI is used for the visualization.
In this demonstration, although the transmission rate is at just a few hundred bps level, we use 429MHz band LoRa®-based modulation wireless that is expected to have a sneak characteristic and is able to perform longer distance transmission compared to 900MHz band.
Taking low noise into account, Renesas RL78/G13 is used for the transmission module.
Also, GR-SAKURA board with the built-in Renesas RX63N compatible with “Arduino” is used for the sensor node, controlling the temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, CO2 sensor and the transmission module.
The sensor information is uploaded to the cloud with 3G/LTE through the gateway by LoRa®-based modulation wireless to be visualized for multiple platforms.
2. Delivering BLDC motor control technology to customers

We have newly added the Renesas Ultra Low Speed Sensorless Control to Shinko BLDC motor control solutions.
We realize stable, low speed motor control needed for oil pumps, etc., and offer further solution lineup for customers.
In our company, we offer a total business proposal that supports from development to production, including development systems needed for inverter development, entrusted development/evaluation, and EMS production, contributing to our customers’ short TAT development.
Also, we offer a development system, sample software, and development resources for the transition to BLDC motor control that requires complex control, supporting our customers with abundant development experience.
We have realized RENESAS Ultra Low Speed Sensorless Control on the RL78/F14 evaluation board (RL78 ECU Evaluation Inverter Unit).
Consequently, by using this evaluation board, development is easily possible.
In stable, low speed motor control needed for oil pumps, we can offer embedded support/SW resource by Shinko Shoji Gr.
The electric bicycle demo is a hands-on demo that allows one to experience low speed, stable control even after adding a load (brake).
