Wi-Fi Framework with GT202 Drivers
Provides a uniform interface for network stacks and applications to integrate various vendors’ Wi-Fi chipsets without vendor-specific code.
Offers a common API to configure, provision, and transfer data to any Wi-Fi module. The API can be used to apply specific configurations, read status information, transmit data, and configure callbacks to handle data received from the module. The Wi-Fi module supports various parameters as specified by the 802.11 a/b/g/n family of standards. However, it is possible that an individual device driver or Wi-Fi chipset may not support the configuration of all parameters. The Wi-Fi framework consists of:
· Wi-Fi APIs
· Network stack abstraction layer
· SSP HAL interface
· Vendor supplied Wi-Fi device driver
It also includes on-chip Stack APIs and Socket APIs to support the BSD Socket APIs to make use of the on-chip networking stack.
