IDT Network Search Engine Accelerates Packet Header Processing to Seamlessly Support Mobility Services between Wireless Access Points

SAN JOSE, Calif., August 29, 2006 — IDT™ (Integrated Device Technology, Inc.; NASDAQ: IDTI), a leading provider of vital semiconductor solutions, today announced Trapeze Networks will include an IDT Network Search Engine (NSE) in its new series of wireless LAN Mobility Exchange switches. The Trapeze Mobility System uses identity-based networking which enables VLAN and subnet memberships, authentications, access control lists (ACLs), roaming policies, bandwidth usage and other vital statistics to stay with and track users as they move between any wired and wireless environment. Each of these critical functions relies upon the network search engine to assist the high-speed packet processing necessary to ensure users have authenticated and seamless access.
