What are Integrated FET Switching Regulators

Renesas' switching regulators with integrated FETs are dc-dc converters that include buck regulators (step-down) and boost regulators (step-up), which operate with input voltages as low as 1.8V and as high as 60V, and will generate output voltages as low as 0.6V.

These switching voltage regulators can switch with speeds as high as 4MHz, provide high efficiency up to 95% and also have light load efficiency modes. The parts can be configured in many different configurations buck, boost, flyback, inverting in isolated and non-isolated applications.

High Efficiency, High Current Buck-Boost Regulators for Battery-Powered Portables

The ISL91127, ISL91128, and ISL91107 high efficiency buck-boost regulators feature best-in-class efficiency up to 96% and a compact footprint ideal for providing system power or powering the peripherals in battery-operated devices. The ISL91127 and ISL91128 offer the industry's lowest quiescent current of 30µA for superior light load efficiency.

The ISL91127, ISL91128 and ISL91107 are part of Renesas' ISL911xx family of buck-boost and boost regulators, ideal for compact mobile devices.

12V Synchronous Buck Regulator Family Delivers Up to 14A

The ISL850xx sync buck regulators support input voltages of 3.8V to 18V and wide output current range, offering designers a complete portfolio of devices with high efficiency and reliable performance. They deliver up to 14A of continuous output current to industrial computers and programmable logic controllers as well as telecom, test and measurement, server and storage networking equipment.

The pin-compatible ISL85014, ISL85012 and ISL85009 address high load current applications, while the 5A ISL85005A and ISL85005 buck switching regulators are pin-compatible with the 3A ISL85003A and ISL85003 devices.
