Dusseldorf, November 29, 2011 — Renesas Electronics Europe, a premier provider of advanced semiconductor solutions, announced today that it is proud to have been awarded a special accolade by all its European distributors at its recent European Distribution Meeting (EDSM) in Berlin, Germany. Thomas Krieg, Managing Director Marketing at Rutronik, presented the award to Renesas on behalf of all of its distribution partners. Krieg said the award was a token of the distributors’ appreciation of Renesas’ careful management of product supplies and its rapid recovery following the earthquake in Japan in March 2011.
