低延迟互连可满足4G到5G移动无线网络以及高性能计算需要的严苛性能要求
美国加利福尼亚州圣何塞，2015年7月30日 – IDT公司（IDT®）（NASDAQ：IDTI）今天宣布，其第二代的RapidIO（RapidIO Gen2）产品已被富士通（Fujitsu）用于最新一代无线基站。这些系统目前已经量产和部署，以支持云无线接入网络（Cloud Radio Access Network， C-RAN）蜂窝网络架构和LTE以及下一代LTE-A无线标准等等。
20 Gbps的RapidIO Gen 2互连方案可实现C-RAN以及移动edge计算所需的大量异构处理器可扩展处理池。这些系统能够从简单的几个处理器架构通过100ns低延迟RapidIO互连扩展到能够支持众多用户和多个处理器的大型系统。
