A seismic intensity 5 lower earthquake occurred on May 26 at 7:03 p.m. JST, with its epicenter off Eastern Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

There was no damage to the buildings, utility and manufacturing equipment of Renesas Naka Factory (Ibaraki Prefecture), which is located nearby the epicenter. While some equipment halted operation, there is no impact to the factory’s production.

As of May 26 JST, we are assessing the impact of the earthquake on our overall supply chain including the suppliers and partner companies. We will make further announcements if we confirm any incidents that may impact Renesas’ business operations.
