Overview
Description
The RZ/G2L microprocessor includes a Cortex®-A55 (1.2GHz) CPU, 16-bit DDR3L/DDR4 interface, 3D graphics engine with Arm® Mali-G31 and video codec (H.264). It also has many interfaces such as camera input, display output, USB 2.0, and Gbit-Ether, making it ideal for applications such as entry-class industrial human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and embedded devices with video capabilities.
The RZ/G2L is also package-compatible and pin-compatible with the RZ/V2L embedded with AI accelerator. This allows RZ/G2L users to easily upgrade to the RZ/V2L for additional AI functions without needing to modify the PCB, keeping migration costs low.
As a software platform for this product, Renesas provides the Verified Linux Package, which includes the Linux Kernel, middleware drivers, and basic software for this product. The Verified Linux package is verified and provided by Renesas. (For Android™ and other operating systems support, please contact your local sales representative or distributor).

RZ/G2L SD Card Problem
... the UART / USB converter plugged into the board and a PC fixes the problem. If we only connect the TX and GND from the RZ/G2L we are able to get the boot messages, with the problem still persisting, so it seems that only connecting the RX line ...

RZ/G2L MTU
Hi I would use the MTUIO6A to drive the buzzer with variable PWM frequency to make sounds with different frequency. Could I take other PINs in the same group MTIOC6B,MTIOC6C and MTIOC6D to GPIO use? Would it violate the pin constrain? Thank you.

RZ/G2L, LC: Camera Interface
The RZ/G2L has an interface capable of the parallel input of images in addition to the MIPI CSI-2. The RZ/G2LC supports only the MIPI CSI-2.
