Impact of the November 22 Earthquake in Coast of Fukushima on Renesas Electronics Operation

First, we would like to express our sincere condolences to those who suffered this earthquake that hit Fukushima and the surrounding areas on November 22 at 5:59 a.m.

We confirmed no casualties at the Renesas group offices and affiliate companies located nearby the epicenter. We temporarily halted part of the manufacturing equipment at the Naka Factory for safety purposes. Having confirmed the safety of the facility, we have resumed operations in an orderly manner.
