Conventional voice-recognition devices often require AC power and big battery, but the extremely low power RE family enables voice-recognition for long periods of time on small batteries. It consumes only about 10% of the current of existing MCUs. RE01: 1.2mA (using external DCDC) + MIC: 0.5mA. In this video, assuming voice remote control operation, the recognition result is sent to the tablet PC via Bluetooth communication.
