Helping you get greater value while taking up less board space, is one of our goals here at Intersil Zilker Labs. These days, power supplies are required to do more and more in less and less space. The demands of a full featured power supply might take up to 80 parts. Each of these parts need to be specified, procured, placed and many times iterrated before the design is complete.

In contrast, the ZL9101M integrates not only the power conversion components but, the power management features like, ramp and delay control, sequencing, margining, tracking. Fault management features like overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, over-temperature protection, and telemetry such as voltage, current and temperature monitoring, all in a single 15mm x 15mm package. Now, that's a board with a lot of value.

We've created one of the most sophisticated power designs with just one chip. That's what we mean when we talk about pick and place simplicity.
