What's T-Engine

The T-Engine Project standardizes the hardware (T-Engine board) and real-time OS (T-Kernel) to support efficient development, and put a lot of effort into distribution of middleware.

Applicable OS T-Kernel T-Kernel

T-Kernel, the Standard OS for the T-Engine

The T-Kernel is based on the technology fostered through 20 years of research and development of the ITRON in the embedded application field, and was developed aiming to facilitate implementation of the advanced embedded-equipment functions required for a ubiquitous computing age, making itself a real-time OS of the new generation.

As for the conventional TRON projects, the T-Kernel inherits an open-architecture philosophy, with its source codes, not just specifications, published from a Web site. The T-Kernel is usable royalty-free under a disclosure system known as T-License. To apply for use or get more information about the T-Kernel, please visit the T-Engine Forum Web site (http://www.t-engine.org/).
