Overview
Assemblers can be classified into absolute assemblers and relocatable assemblers. The AS6133 can be classified as an absolute assembler, but it differs from conventional absolute assemblers as it allows split programming. Therefore, while you could say that AS6133 is an absolute assembler, it also has characteristics very close to those of a relocatable assembler.
