ICs for PFC Power Supply

Equipped with a variety of functions for improving efficiency, driving higher efficiency and eco-friendliness for power supply systems of electric devices, and thus society as a whole. Driver ICs are also available for high-accuracy, high-efficiency LED lighting systems.

ICs for Charge Control

Ideal for consumer electronics that charge a single cell lithium-ion battery via USB. Lineup includes new products compliant with USB Charging 1.2/Apple Charging and equipped with a new adapter auto-detect function.

ICs for Insulated SW Power Supply

Renesas' lineup of ICs for AC/DC converter covers a wide variety of applications, from large current applications such as server to small current applications such as digital still cameras, video cameras, mobile phones, and surveillance cameras.

ICs for DC/DC Converter

Renesas offers a rich lineup of ICs for DC/DC converter covering a broad range of voltages and equipped with a variety of protection and other functions.

Built-in MOSFET Integrated SiP

These integrated power devices combine an IC and two power MOSFETs in a single package. They are ideal for high efficiency/high current applications such as computer and server CPU and DDR memory power supplies.

Shunt Regulators

These are the standard reference voltage source widely used by the feedback circuits of switching power supplies and so on. Compared to the Zener diode, which is a discrete product, a shunt regulator has much better voltage precision because voltage control is carried out as an IC.

3 Terminal Regulators

DC voltage stabilization circuits used in the latter part of AC/DC converters and so on. There are few external components, and creating the desired voltage is easy. In addition, noise characteristics are superior in comparison to switching power supplies.
