SH7780

Product Overview:

The SH7780 uses an SH-4A CPU core with a maximum operating frequency of 400MHz, and realizes a processing performance of 720 MIPS. The four-wayset-associative cache memory is divided into two 32-Kbyte areas, one forinstructions and one for data. The SH7780 incorporates an on-chip 32-bit PCIbus controller which allows connections with LSI devices incorporating PCIinterfaces and operating at either 66 MHz or 33 MHz. It employs three kinds ofbus: a 32-bit bus for connections to double data rate synchronous DRAM(DDR-SDRAM), a 32-bit bus for PCI bus connections, and a 32-bit local bus forconnecting to flash memory, SRAM, etc. Also the SH7780 incorporates a widerange of peripheral functions such as DMAC, SCIF, RTC, FLCTL, TMU, SSI, HAC,MMCIF,etc.
