Product Overview:

RL78/G1A Group microcontrollers employ the RL78 core which realizes high processing performance while delivering the lowest power consumption in their class, and have an enhanced A/D conversion circuit.
In addition to a high-precision (±1%) on-chip oscillator enabling 32 MHz CPU operation and other standard on-chip functions from the RL78/G13, the RL78/G1A microcontrollers have a built-in A/D conversion circuit with 12-bit precision accuracy enabling fine-grained control and support up to 28 channels of analog input, allowing them to be used for a wide range of system control applications, for example sensor systems.
In addition, abundant functions for supporting functional safety, such as an A/D converter testing function, are also on-chip.
With ultra-small packages such as 25-pin LGA (3 x 3 mm) and 64-pin BGA (4 x 4 mm) ideal for compact devices, these products are suitable for devices having a sensor, such as industrial equipment, office equipment, and home appliances, mobile devices, healthcare devices, and other consumer electronics.
