Product Overview:
RL78/F12 Group microcontrollers employ the RL78 core which realizes high processing performance while delivering the lowest power consumption in their class, and are suitable for automotive applications.
A high-precision (±2%) on-chip oscillator makes 32 MHz CPU operation possible (24 MHz for K grade products), and built-in features such as a reset circuit, a low voltage detection circuit, a watchdog timer, and data flash with background operation function help to lower the total cost of building a system and contribute to more compact size and lower power consumption.
In addition, abundant functions for supporting functional safety, such as an A/D converter testing function, are also on-chip.
With 20 to 64-pin packages and the standard in-vehicle network, LIN (Local Interconnect Network), these products are suitable for a broad range of automotive body control applications such as remote keyless entry, power windows, automatic air conditioning, and lighting modules.
