Overview
The R8C/Lx Series has built-in LCD drive control circuit. It inherits many peripheral functions, such as a multifunction timer and a wealth of communication functions, from the R8C/3x Series, and the easy-to-use LCD drive control circuit from the 38000/740 and H8/300L Super Low Power Series. Possessing the following key features, the R8C/Lx Series aptly supports a variety of LCD panel devices*. In addition, the R8C/LAPS Group microcontrollers equipped with large-capacity flash memory (maximum 128 KB) are ultra-low power and low pin count.
- Package lineup of 30, 32, 52, 64, 80, and 100 pins
- 8, 16, 32, 48, 64, 96, or 128 KB on-chip Flash (differs by Group)
- 5 MHz operation at 1.8 V supply voltage, and 20 MHz operation from 2.7 V available
- Built-in great for power-saving applications*
- Choice timers inherited from R8C/3x, 38000/740, and H8
- On-chip and take the place of external reset IC
- Built-in takes the place of external oscillator*
- Built-in pin-level LCD port/general port switching function cuts down on invalid pins*
