R8C Family

The R8C/3xK Group and the R8C/3xU Group are equipped with USB modules supporting Full-Speed USB 2.0. They have the same peripheral modules as the R8C/3x Series, and come in 40-pin (QFN) and 48-pin (LQFP) small-sized packages.

USB Selection by Application:

R8C/3MK Group: USB 2.0 Module (Host/Peripheral), I²C-bus Interface (IIC)/Synchronous Serial Communication Unit, 10-bit A/D Converter, Comparator, DTC (Data Transfer Controller), PLL Frequency Synthesizer, and Oscillation Stop Detection Function are added to standard peripherals. Equipped with Hardware LIN Module. Maximum operating frequency is 20 MHz. 40-pin package is available. Data Flash with Background Operation (BGO) function (1 KB × 4 blocks) is embedded.
R8C/34K Group: USB 2.0 Module (Host/Peripheral), I²C-bus Interface (IIC)/Synchronous Serial Communication Unit, 10-bit A/D Converter, Comparator, DTC (Data Transfer Controller), PLL Frequency Synthesizer, and Oscillation Stop Detection Function are added to standard peripherals.
