Overview:
Standard on-chip peripherals of this product series include 16-bit Multifunction Timers (incl. 3-phase inverter motor control function), UART/Clock Synchronous Serial Interface, 10-bit A/D Converter, 8-bit D/A Converters, DMACs, CRC Calculation Circuit, and Watchdog Timer. The lineup also includes a product group with peripheral functions optimized for PLC (Power Line Communication).

M16C/6S These MCUs are ideal for low-cost networking applications. They integrate the IT800 power line modem developed by uITRAN, which provides communication over power lines using the 120 kHz to 400 kHz (FCC, ARIB) or 20 kHz to 80 kHz (CENELEC A) or 95 kHz to 125 kHz (CENELEC B) frequency band and achieves data transfer rates of up to 7.5 kbps. |
