Product Overview:
The H8SX/1500 series has the Renesas exclusive high-speed, high-performance
32-bit CISC H8SX CPU core. Renesas has maintained object level compatibility
with its existing H8 and H8S products while increasing the maximum operating
frequency to 48 MHz. The series is also equipped with peripheral functions very
suitable for automotive controls, such as SSU and CAN, which are LAN standard
and employ a 5 V single power supply. It is a series well suited for
industrial use, with the automotive field and factory automation as the focus.
Models with large capacity flash memory and improved peripheral functions
are currently in development.
