Product Overview:
The H8S/2144B Grou pand H8S/2134B Group comprise high-performancemicrocomputers with the 16-bit H8S/2000 CPU core, and a set of on-chipsupporting functions required for system configuration. The H8S/2000 CPU canexecute basic instructions in one state, and is provided with sixteen internal16-bit general registers with a 32-bit configuration, and a concise andoptimized instructionset. The CPU can handle a 16-Mbyte linear address space.Programs based on the high-level language C can also be run efficiently.
Single-power-supply flash memory version is available, providing a quickand flexible response to conditions from a ramp-up through full-scale volumeproduction, even for applications with frequently changingspecifications.
On-chip peripheral functions include a 16-bit free-running timer (FRT), 8-bittimers(TMR), watchdog timers(WDT), PWM timer (PWMX), a serial communicationinterface (SCI, IrDA), D/A converter (DAC), A/D converter (ADC), and I/Oports.
Use of the H8S/2144B Group and H8S/2134B Group enables compact,high-performance systems to be implemented easily. In addition, the combinationof flash and reduced-function versions is ideal for applications such as systemunits in which on-chip program memory is essential to meet performancerequirements, product start-up times are short, and program modifications maybe necessary after end-product assembly.
