HCAN Features

The HCAN is a module for controlling a controller area network (CAN) for realtime communication in vehicular and industrial equipment systems, etc.
For details on CAN specification, refer to Bosch CAN Specification Version 2.0 1991, Robert Bosch GmbH.

HCAN Selection by Application:

H8S/2282 Group: This LSI is equipped with ROM, RAM, a 16-bit timer pulse unit, a watchdog timer, serial communication interfaces, a controller area network (HCAN), an A/D converter, a motor control PWM timer, an LCD controller/driver (LCD), a clock pulse generator, and I/O ports as on-chip peripheral modules. This LSI is suitable for use as an embedded processor for high-level control systems.
H8S/2556, 2552, 2506 Group: This LSI is a high-performance microcomputer made up of the H8S/2000 CPU with an internal 32-bit configuration as its core, and the peripheral functions required to configure a system.
H8S/2612 Group: The H8S/2612 Series are single-chip microcomputers made up of the high-speed H8S/2600 CPU as its core, and the peripheral functions required to configure a system. The H8S/2600 CPU has an instruction set that is compatible with the H8/300 and H8/300H CPUs.
H8S/2615 Group: The H8S/2615 Group single-chip microcomputer is made up of the high-speed H8S/2600 CPU as its core, and the peripheral functions required configuring a system. The H8S/2600 CPU has an instruction set that is compatible with the H8/300 and H8/300H CPUs.
H8S/2628 Group: The H8S/2628 Series are single-chip microcomputers made up of the high-speed H8S/2600 CPU as its core, and the peripheral functions required to configure a system. The H8S/2600 CPU has an instruction set that is compatible with the H8/300 and H8/300H CPUs.
H8S/2639, 2638, 2636, 2630 Group: This LSI has the internal 32-bit H8S/2600 CPU and includes a variety of peripheral functions necessary for a system configuration. It serves as a high-performance microcomputer.
H8S/2648, 2646 Group: The H8S/2646 Series is a series of high-performance microcontrollers with the internal 32-bit H8S/2600 CPU core, and a set of on-chip supporting functions required for system configuration.
H8S/2649 Group: The H8S/2649 Group is a group of high-performance microcontrollers with built-in multiplier made up of the high-speed H8S/2600 CPU as its core.
