Description
The RRG5332x-A20 is a highly integrated, highly efficient second-generation DDR5 PMIC that offers a programmable, precise output voltage power solution for all client DIMM modules with three step-down switching output regulators and two LDO output regulators. The PMIC is fully compliant with the JEDEC DDR5 PMIC5120 specification. The PMIC is powered from a single input power supply (VIN_Bulk) from the system board to power its switching and LDO output regulators.
The RRG5332x-A20 has numerous advanced protection schemes to protect itself and the entire BOM of DDR5 client DIMM modules. The PMIC offers secure mode operation to defend against malicious attacks and has an advanced I3C bus that can operate at a maximum speed of 12.5MHz with low-voltage I/O operation. The PMIC features a unique low-power mode of operation to extend the battery life of notebook systems.
The RRG5332x-A20 is available in a small 3 × 4 mm form factor in FCQFN package with enhanced solder joint reliability and thermal dissipation.
