Description
DA9098 is a highly integrated, configurable, ultra-low quiescent current charger PMIC designed to meet the needs of TWS Systems (hearables), wearables, and other small Li-ion battery-operated applications. It features a 500mA linear battery charger with a power-path manager (PPM), a 4-output SIMO capable of delivering 400mA of total current, four LDOs, and a 3-channel LED driver. With its compact WLCSP package, DA9098 offers a complete set of robust protection features, a watchdog, additional GPIOs for system flexibility, and I2C control.
DA9098 provides up to 500mA charge current for fast charging cycles and offers several power-saving modes to optimize battery life whether the device is idle or in operation. With a programmable charge profile and dynamic power path management, it ensures efficient current distribution between the system and the battery for rapid charging. Additionally, DA9098 includes a battery monitor that enables on-demand monitoring of battery voltage, charge and discharge current, and temperature management. It is well-suited for small battery applications.
