Overview
AC servo systems must operate at high speeds and be capable of versatile waveform output. Communication equipment also requires different handling depending on the system or region of use. Our platform for embedded systems in a package (PFESiP®), a gate array that facilitates creation of dedicated microcontrollers, satisfies these needs. With the PFESiP, the gate array block of an EP-1 Series product is developed using an FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) and a development evaluation board that enables pre-verification under conditions extremely close to those of an actual chip.
