Overview
Closed circuit television (CCTV) involves the positioning of one or more cameras. This involves motorized mechanisms for the electric control of the optical zoom, the angle and the pan & tilt of the camera. This mechanism also has to be controlled remotely. The motors are typically stepper or servo type motors.
Renesas' range of 8/16-bit microcontrollers for motor control is ideally suited for these applications.
