LED Bulb (Standard Type)

Overview

Coloured LEDs are commonly used as indicator lamps in many devices, however white LEDs are now being increasingly used for general lighting. LEDs present many advantages over incandescent light sources including lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, higher brightness, improved robustness, smaller size, faster switching and greater reliability.

In most use cases, LED bulbs do not require dimming or toning functions. For such bulbs, high efficiency, high power factor, and low BOM cost are demanded. Renesas' R2A20134SP LED driver IC and RJKxxxx Series driver MOSFETs meet these demands. These product series are ideal for satisfying the low cost, low power, and small size requirements of LED light bulbs.
